River Reflections (Weekend Reflections # 74)

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I took this shot last month. I like the way the lights on the bridge work with their reflections to make what looks to me like a mask.

This will be my entry for the Sunday Bridges meme too.

If needed please click the link in the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions.
Now lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

Your shot is amazing ! It feels like you did get the picture of some gigantic mask : those lights under the bridge and their reflection look like eyes...

Lovely ! and so poetical...

I have the same feeling than you: Carnival is beginning tonight here, and I was thinking of a mask!
(BTW: those kinds of masks are called in french "loup" , like "wolf").

Brilliant picture, looks indeed a mask, big eyes are watching you! :)
The arches in this bridge are so romantic and I've counted about 11 lights in detail, and lots of other little lights, it's beautiful!

Quick, call Christopher Nolan. If ever there was a perfect opening scene of Gotham for a Batman movie, this is it! Your work is so cinematic! I am always lead to attach a story to your images.

The reflections here in the darkness of the water (that famous Philadelphia river, I wonder) are so special - as usual a great composition!

It' odd that, even if we see a bridge with lights reflected in the water ever day, it never fails to enchant.
